China Mobile tops brand value list

China Mobile is the country's most valuable brand with an estimated value of $53.6 billion (€41.1 billion), despite the firm’s worth has falling 4% in 2011.
Research by global
advertising and market research firm WPP ranks rival China Telecom 11
th, with a value of $10.86 billion, and China Unicom 15
th based on a brand worth of $6.25 billion.
Several internet-based companies also achieved a strong showing on the top-50 list. Search engine Baidu and e-commerce and social networking company Tencent Holdings were ranked in sixth and tenth place respectively, and web portal sina.com.cn placed just 25th, after its worth grew 244% in the year to-date.
