Nokia has settled a wage dispute with workers at its Chennai manufacturing plant,
signing a new three-year agreement to increase salaries by 2,000-3,000 rupees (€33-€49) per month.
JDSU has unveiled three new 10GE testing tools for
converged Ethernet networks with emerging data center bridging, and fiber channel over Ethernet technologies.
IP Wireless will today unveil a collaboration with Huawei covering Integrated Mobile Broadcast services. The deal follows a
similar recent announcement with Vodafone, Orange and O2.
Belgium's
Mobistar has
extended its contract to provide telecom services to
SNCB-NMBS Group trains. The extended contract is for both fixed and mobile voice and data applications.
Apple's iPad will on Friday
launch in nine more countries – Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore. But the company is still struggling to keep up with demand in its existing markets.
