Google has updated its Japan Crisis Response page to allow a wider range of mobile phones to access the site. The site was previously only accessible on high-end smartphones.

 

India’s GSM subscriber base grew nearly 3% in February to 555 million, regular figures from the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) show. Market leaders Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Essar added 158.9 million and 130.9 million users respectively.

Deutsche Telekom has launched a smartphone synchronization service that automatically shares data including e-mail, address book and calendars. The service is initially available for iPhone and iPad, but will be extended to Android and Windows Phones devices.
