The number of homes connected to digital TV services will hit 517 million globally in 2010, up 85% on 2009,
Informa Telecoms & Media predicts. The firm forecasts connections will
grow to around one billion by 2015, aided by strong growth in China, Russia and the US.

PC microprocessor revenue grew 24.1% year-on-year in Q3, outpacing the 8.6% increase in shipments over the quarter,
IDC said. The researchers forecast double-digit growth for 2011.

first tablet, the Tycoon, which will run on the PC-centric Windows 7 OS.
