Qatar Telecom subsidiary Tunisiana is switching to an all-IP mobile network, using infrastructure from Alcatel-Lucent. The equipment firm also today unveiled a separate deal to deploy Vanuatu’s first international submarine cable.

Netherlands Antilles-based cellco TelCel St Maarten has contracted Nokia Siemens to deploy a 3G/HSPA network in the country.
