Canadian carrier Rogers Communications has integrated its cable and wireless businesses while creating a separate and focused emerging business and corporate development group.The carrier also appointed new deputy chairman, Edward S. Rogers.

Hutchison's Indonesian subsidiary has awarded Huawei $422 million in contracts to expand its GSM network. It will order $307.1 million worth of equipment by 2011 and a further $79.9 million by 2015, as well as a $35 million managed services contract.
