Brazilian regulator Anatel has green lighted Telefonica’s €7.5 billion acquisition of Brasilcel, which grants the telco control of domestic carrier Vivo.

BT will surrender its extraneous NLD license in India, but not be refunded the entry fee. BT is currently using a second long-distance license in India, which it acquired through the purchase of i2i Enterprise in 2007.

A sophisticated worm that targets industrial software used primarily in Iran may have been developed by a nation-state in an attempt at industrial sabotage according to security researchers.
