UK national grid company OnStream has selected BSS vendor MetraTech's billing solutions to support its metering services.

 

OnStream will use the MetraTech platform for both its traditional gas and electricity meter services, and in its upcoming smart metering solutions.

 

The company is currently transforming its business to concentrate on the nascent smart metering market. It has already installed 27,000 smart and automated meter reading meters in homes and businesses across the UK.

 

“Smart metering represents the critical pathway for OnStream’s future,” OnStream director Sharon Rodriguez said.
